Welcome to our Web site. Poulsen Cascade Tackle has been serving the needs of anglers primarily in the Pacific Northwest for over 70 years! Many of our lure designs have inspired generations of similar lures. Ours was the original Rainbow pattern for salmon and steelhead spinners that is so copied today. We are also the home of such familiar blade styles as Backmore, Bear Valley, CV, Lucky R, Wisdom, and Cascade (genuine Cascade, not ‘Mag Willow’ or ‘Olympic’). Great salmon and steelhead spinners are not all we are known for, though. The company was into high quality trout and kokanee lake trolls (flashers) right from the beginning, including the now famous Cousin Carl. Add to that our classic salmon spoons such as the Elmer or the Corn Wobbler and it starts to become clear why our Half-Fast fishing tackle brand has endured the test of time.
Poulsen Cascade and the Half-Fast brand were nearly gone a couple of years ago, but now, under new ownership, all the old favorites are coming back online. We’ve also adopted the products of the Rainbow Tackle Company, including the incredible TwisTech wire forming tool and tackle maker. Look for classic Half-Fast brand tackle to start showing back up at your favorite tackle store along with some exiting new innovations such as the Krazy Carl or the Big Elmer. If you do not see Poulsen Cascade fishing gear at your dealer, ask them to start stocking it.
